About Us
Recognizing the need for connection and support, HOME founders Ed and Kathy Green launched a non-profit ministry to serve the needs of homeschool families throughout Maine.
As the number of homeschoolers grew over the years, HOME grew, too! More than three decades later, the mission and purpose of the ministry remain steadfastly the same. Today, the organization of HOME carries on its work with many more hands as it fully supports homeschooling families in their God-given and constitutional right and responsibility to oversee the education of their children.
