Community Service Projects
Add community service to your curriculum! Teach your children the importance of giving back by involving them in a community service project to benefit HOME and Maine homeschoolers in need!

$2,027 Holiday Giving Campaign
HOME leaders and volunteers serve the Maine homeschooling community in so many ways every day, all year long. Will you help us cover our operational costs? Help us to keep on blessing others in the new year ahead!
Give a gift between November 1, 2026 and January 1, 2027 to provide an extra special blessing to the ministry of HOME!
American Flatbread Pizza Fundraiser
Looking for a fun way to celebrate this spring? Get together with other homeschoolers, socialize, show pride in our community, and raise public awareness about the benefits of home education! From 4:00pm-7:00pm on TBD, Flatbread in Rockport will donate $3.50 of EVERY large flatbread sold and $1.75 of EVERY small flatbread sold to Homeschoolers of Maine- for eat in OR takeout! We hope to see you there!

Inventory Clearance Sales
Donations to HOME have been abundant! HOME Inventory Clearance Sales provide an outstanding opportunity for you to find resources at VERY low prices. Be sure to join us for upcoming sales!

Location: Online (This sale is completely online, and features select new curriculum items from HOME's bookstore at greatly reduced prices, as well as vintage book collections, gently used books, and more! Be sure to register and bid often!)
Winter Family Read-A-Thon
Join other homeschool families for HOME's 3rd Annual Winter-Family-Read-A-Thon. You can participate as an individual or a family. All ages welcome! Take the blah out of winter by cozying up with a good book. Prizes will be awarded to the top three fundraisers in this event. All proceeds benefit other homeschool families by offering support, materials and scholarships.

Location: The comfort of your own home
To participate, please fill out the 2027 Winter Family-Read-A-Thon form. You will receive a personalized link to send to friends and family members.
Cash prizes awarded to the top 3 fundraisers. Download and submit the Bingo Reading Challenge Card and receive a digital unit study of your choice. All submissions will also be entered to win a $25 gift certificate to Barnes and Noble.
Raise a minimum of $25 for HOME, receive your choice of one of HOME's literature guides in digital format. Earn a minimum of $100, choose a print copy.
Annual Silent Auction
This lively annual fundraiser is a traditional favorite held every spring. Auctions include all the great items you have come to expect. See a list of current items up for bid here.
The event will be held completely online. Be sure to REGISTER to participate and then come back to bid during the week of March 12 -16, 2027.

Rockport Automotive Oil Change Fundraiser
You can support Homeschoolers of Maine simply by having necessary maintenance performed on your vehicle. For the month of July, Rockport Automotive will donate $5 of every oil change to Homeschoolers of Maine. Get your oil changed and support Homeschoolers of Maine in their mission to preserve, protect, and promote homeschooling in Maine.

HOME Summer Market Sale
Many local vendors will be represented at HOME's 4th Annual Market and Craft Fair!
Step into an exciting marketplace where every booth holds a story and a surprise. This event is more than just a shopping experience. It's a family adventure! Come celebrate our community, creativity, and the thrill of the find. Meet local artists, crafters, bakers, and used booksellers. Find antiques and other treasures old and new. Food trucks serving up delicious bites will be there, too!
Come out to support our vendors, meet homeschoolers, and visit with Homeschoolers of Maine!
